About Committee to Protect Health Care

The Committee to Protect Health Care (CTP) is a 501(c)4 advocacy organization that seeks universal, quality health care for all Americans. Led by frontline physicians and medical workers, and supported by a full staff of campaign professionals, the Committee effects change in health care public policy through medical professional organizing, paid media, lobbying, and earned media strategies.

CTP Campaign Managers develop and execute campaigns and programs in a portfolio of states. Campaign Managers design and implement education campaigns, advocate for and pass state and federal level health policy, hold politicians accountable for their health care failures, and elect a pro-patient health care majority in Congress and in states.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include: creating plans to support the passage of legislation, identifying, preparing and retaining, medical professionals for participation in CTP’s campaigns, and the cultivation of state and local level partnerships across the assigned region.

Campaign Managers are expected to have organizing and campaign management expertise and experience. Qualified candidates often have experience in ballot initiatives, labor unions, candidate campaigns, or legislative caucus experience. Ideal candidates for this position will also have a passion for health care politics, strong communication skills, and demonstrated commitment to CTP’s core mission.

The Campaign Manager will join a talented team of professionals committed to a high degree of achievement and a positive, no-drama, fast-paced work environment.
