About ParentsTogether

A LITTLE ABOUT US

ParentsTogether's superpower is reaching parents where they are with practical information and civic engagement actions that help improve their families lives.

We serve over 3 million subscribers with content across our platforms (Facebook Messenger, SMS, Email, TikTok, Instagram, and web) and reach tens of millions of parents each year through viral content, influencer partnerships, and earned media. We use those same channels to organize parents to speak out in favor of economic justice, pandemic relief, public education, affordable childcare, kids health, racial justice, online safety, and other important priorities. You can learn more about our work on our website and on our social platforms here and here.

As an organization, we work collaboratively to solve challenges together. We have a positive, low-ego, low-drama work culture. All of us love our work and are driven to help ParentsTogether succeed. Our strategy framework is based on lean startup principles. We try out ideas quickly, see what works, and iterate.

Our Executive Director, Alien Arreaza, stepped into her role at the start of 2023, taking over the reins from a co-founder team. As the long-time parent voice on our messaging platforms, the driver behind so much of our narrative and storytelling work, and as a growing media presence speaking up for families, Arreaza has made a seamless transition into the executive director role.

The Managing Director is a new position that will work very closely with ParentsTogether's Executive Director. We are at an exciting inflection point focused on building off a proven model while also expanding into new work, investing in experimentation, and learning and growing together.
