POWER is one of the Community Based Organizations (CBO) that is a part of StayHousedLA – a partnership between the County of Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles, the local community, and legal service providers to provide tenants with the information and support needed to exercise their rights so that they can remain safely in their homes. We are looking for a Tenant Navigator who can:

  • Follow up with tenants who we meet during canvassing and community events
  • Connect tenants with resources
  • Facilitate communication between tenants, service providers, and landlords
  • Help tenants apply for relevant programs
  • Communicate clearly with tenants about their rights
  • Manage ongoing casework
  • Refer cases to other organizations
  • Work from home or our office, may require travel within LA County to meet with tenants or for community events
  • Compile and transmit reports to the Stay Housed LA Coalition


A strong commitment to grassroots democracy and progressive social change
Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and oral) required
Proficient in Airtable, Zoom, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Email, Digital Calendars and similar technologies
Experience with community organizing, grassroots mutual aid, or similar community work
Ability to communicate clearly with flexibility, compassion and respect
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality
Shows respect and sensitivity and promotes a harassment-free environment


Status: Full-time, Regular, Exempt, benefits eligible

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000

Location: Remote; Hollywood, CA
