You are a driven, experienced sales and marketing manager looking for a way to put your skills to the greatest good for the world. You’re a bit of a unicorn: obsessed with creating growth and driving revenue, and also unbending and no-BS about maximizing your positive impact.

Leading Movement Labs’ consulting shop, you’ll shape distributed organizing programs of amazing clients from Black Voters Matter to the DCCC and help state government marketing ensure the social safety net works. You’ll grow a team of strategists and outreach staff, and work with the senior leadership team to launch new marketing efforts. You’ll help grow our revenue from ~$3-5m a year to $10-15m – and 100% of the profit your team generates will be poured into incubating new programs to further our mission.

 

Responsibilities

Drive significant revenue generation from large and small clients
Quickly launch business development & marketing efforts
Use sales automation and CRM to streamline our partnership work
Develop and manage a sales and client engagement team
Manage relationships with high level contacts directly

Requirements
4+ years leading sales, marketing, or business development functions;
5+ years of direct management experience, including 2+ of team leadership
Experience working across the marketing/sales/post-sales funnel
Experience in a political or government consulting role preferred
Expertise in mass SMS, distributed organizing, digital communications
Commitment to fighting fascism, building progressive power and providing dignified lives for all
Active network of senior civic or progressive political contacts preferred

Benefits
Salary range starts at $120,000-160,000, with competitive compensation based on experience, including potential milestone-based pay.
