ONE People’s Campaign seeks a part-time (14-20 hours/weekly) elections contract employee to support our field efforts in the 2023 municipal elections. Pay is $25/hour. Timeline: 1/30/23 – 4/14/23.

Support 3 slates of District Council candidates (~7-10 hours/week only through Feb. 28. ):
Manage their progress to goal on field program, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising goals, and troubleshoot if not on track
Advise on campaign strategy and messaging when needed
Support candidates in navigating VAN and campaign data
Hold weekly check-ins with each slate to check in on progress and troubleshoot
Support alignment between District Council slates and other OPC endorsed Aldermanic candidates, including helping create scripts, coordinating on turf, and ensuring proper data flows
Field Organizer (~7-10 hours/week):
Launch a weekly canvass in the 48th ward, train and debrief with volunteers, ensure smooth logistics with materials, cut turf, complete data entry
Recruit volunteers, hit goals for volunteer shifts completed
Other duties as assigned, could include running a paid phone bank and canvass operation, text banking or other voter contact tools

Skills Needed:
Comfort with google suite
