WHAT YOU WILL DO

As an Associate of ActBlue’s Movement, Issues, and Charitable Organizations (MICO) Department, you will support and recruit state, local, and federal Political Action Committees (PACs) using ActBlue for digital fundraising. You will own a portfolio of movement driven PACs, providing maintenance and strategic advising to ensure the campaigns and electoral groups are effectively using and leveraging ActBlue. In addition, you will also ensure we’re increasing ActBlue’s market share within your portfolio of issues, bringing new PACs onto the platform.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as part of the MICO Team to meet or exceed goals related to increasing the number of new PACs that use our platform
  • Serve as the account manager for a portfolio of PACs in assigned issue areas, providing support in account set-up and ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting issues 
  • Use established best practices to provide strategic advising to enable fundraising growth for organizations and campaigns
  • Keep up to date on latest digital fundraising best practices in order to assist organizations in the use of ActBlue tools to improve program
  • Collaborate with colleagues on ways to improve account management and campaign support
  • Serve as a member of the Movement, Issue and Charitable Organizations team, working across issues;
  • Engage in ongoing identification of opportunities for improved policies, collaboration, learning and process upgrades;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • At least 1-3 years of political, campaign, and or nonprofit digital program and/or fundraising experience
  • Experience working in an electoral or nonprofit setting including working with PAC and/or IE programs
  • Experience working in a fast paced, problem solving role
  • Self-starter mentality: capable of working independently, but motivated by ActBlue’s big-picture mission and goals 
  • Proven ability to identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Clear and compassionate written and verbal communications skill set
  • Strong organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and high fidelity to follow up & follow through actions
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion

LOCATION AND COMPENSATION

This posting is for a full-time, remote, salaried position. ActBlue is currently authorized to support remote work employees in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., Wisconsin and Wyoming. 

Salary Range Details:

Salary Range: $65,000 – $76,500 

ActBlue is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization.  Final salary offers will take into account factors such as candidate experience, interview performance and current team salary parity.

Bargaining Unit position: The terms and conditions of this position are subject to a collective bargaining agreement with the Campaign Workers Guild, the exclusive bargaining agent of covered ActBlue employees.
