In 2024, Relentless is running a first-of-its-kind compensated relational program at scale across battleground states using Rally. This program will hire 20,000+ low turnout voters to become relational organizers in their communities and turn their friends and families out to vote. We’re looking for a creative, experienced campaign professional to help power and scale this program.

The Deputy Partnerships Director will oversee the National Battleground State Partnerships and Recruitment Program.

As the Deputy Partnerships Director at Relentless for the 2024 National Program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our partnerships and recruitment strategy across five targeted states. You will oversee the strategic recommendations and implementation of the recruitment program, hire and manage a team of In State Strategists, and hold key partnerships across the county, ensuring we reach thousands of potential mobilizers. A great Deputy Partnerships Director is someone who understands how to build and maintain relationships, manage fast paced teams in a virtual setting, and believes in the power and abilities of relational organizing. You are an extremely organized person that enjoys getting creative on new ways to recruit and activate voters, and tackling large scale projects. You can stay on top of deadlines and priorities while also seeing the big picture of the election cycle.

The Deputy Partnerships Director will report directly to the Director of Recruitment and Partnerships and assist them in managing both national and state partnerships as well as the recruitment program’s day-to-day operations, in tandem with the entire Recruitment and Partnerships program. This role will hire, onboard, and manage staff, oversee the health of the program through metrics and tests, and complete other duties necessary to leverage partnerships and run effective programs across all five battleground states


This is a full-time, remote, and temporary position with an target start date of June 11th, 2024 and an end date of November 15, 2024.

Location: Remote
Compensation: $7,000-$8,000/month
Benefits: 100% employer-paid health and life insurance, 99% employer-paid dental and vision insurance (employee pays 50 cents per month)

  • Establish and maintain robust partnerships with soft side state partnerships, local groups, and community organizations.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and partnerships to enhance in-state recruitment initiatives.
  • Hire team of five managers (one per battleground state) to be on the ground for the 2024 cycle
  • Ensure alignment of program goals with organizational objectives and state policies including but not limited to voter protection laws, voting rights etc.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and state-level stakeholders; facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal teams and external partners.
  • Oversee the implementation of in-state recruitment programs, including establishment and evaluation of performance metrics and conduct regular ROI assessments and progress to goal to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.


  • 3-4 years of experience working in campaigns,  or similar electoral work; at least 1 year of experience in a leadership role either in-state or at a national level
  • 1-2 years of leadership in a partnership or political capacity, with a strong preference for experience within one or more of our targeted states (NC, PA, GA, AZ, MI).
  • 1-2 years of experience managing teams responsible for building and executing large scale or multi-state work
  • Enthusiastic about learning new tools and platforms
  • Ability and willingness to think outside the box
  • Experience running and analyzing A/B tests
  • Exemplary grammar and writing skills
  • Experience working in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of current trends in political environment

This work will require being available nights and weekends during peak program days and as Election Day nears. The Deputy Partnerships Director should expect to be online and available six days a week from September 3rd-November 6th.
