THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Senior UX Designer II you will lead discovery, ideation, and execute on end-to-end design of products and product features. You will work on end-to-end projects with agency and in concert with our UX research, product management, engineering, and internal teams. You may act as a mentor to 1 to 2 designers.
With a focus on Platform and Integrations, you would have the opportunity to work with our cross-functional teams on complex, multi-channel experiences that build fundraising infrastructure for our multiple user groups. Your work would support integrations, security and our continued dedication to providing our users a safe, easy to use platform across fundraising needs.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Partner with UX research and data teams to develop and foster a deep understanding of the behaviors, needs, and motivations of our users to inform products, services, and organizational decisions.

Actively evangelize the use of research and data to inform decisions within your product team’s work as well as the work of your design team peers.

Proactively work with the research team to identify as well as conduct research studies to inform the work of your product area.

Lead end-to-end design process and deliver pixel-perfect user flows at various stages, including at the ideation and research phases. Partner closely with cross-functional teams through each stage of the design process to deliver UX between various stages.

Contribute to the architecture of product spaces with limited guidance. And also play an active role in influencing best practices that guide and inform the standard of information architecture delivered by the design team.

Lead the end-to-end design process of your product space, including working with cross-functional partners to define timelines, trade-offs, constraints, etc.

Contribute to the ATS Design System through project work in exploring and delivering solutions for components and styles.

Proactively implement and follow our organizational design principles and industry best practices keeping the best interests of the user at the forefront.

Build and foster a strong design and research team culture as a key participant in team crits, providing constructive feedback and keeping research and data at the forefront.
WHAT YOU BRING:

Experience working with remote, geographically distributed, cross-functional teams on complex product features.

Experience leading end-to-end delivery of products, starting from ideation and discovery to pixel-perfect mocks.

Experience leading discovery, ideation and user research sessions.

Experience working with cross-functional teams on product ideas and pitches, including the design and delivery of MVPs.

You bring a user-first approach to UX design, grounding decisions in research and data. You have experience in incorporating research into your design process to inform UX decisions.

You’re a strong storyteller with experience in presenting to audiences at multiple levels of the organization.

Experience mentoring junior designers.

You’re comfortable working in a culture of feedback and approach conflict with curiosity.

LOCATION AND COMPENSATION:
This posting is for a full-time, remote, salaried position. ActBlue is currently authorized to support remote work employees in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.
Salary Range:
Senior Designer II: $162,027 – $178,971
ActBlue is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization. Final salary offers will take into account factors such as candidate experience, interview performance and current team salary parity.
