Position Description/Job Summary/Overview:
Somos Votantes/Somos PAC is seeking an experienced and strategic Program Manager of Media
Campaigns to drive our organization’s paid media this election cycle. Responsibilities will include
developing, executing, and tracking innovative and impactful paid media campaigns across various
mediums to effectively reach our target audiences and achieve our organizational and departmental goals
and objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of traditional and digital media, excellent
leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. It will also require keen
attention to detail and the ability to move quickly under tight timelines. This position reports to the National
Director of Communications and Media.

Key Responsibilities:
● Program Development & Implementation
○ Collaborate with Communications and Media Director and internal stakeholders to
understand organizational objectives, plan and create paid media plans that effectively
target and engage the desired audience.
○ Coordinate, track, and ensure paid Spanish and English language communication
products (TV, radio, digital, direct mail, etc.) between internal stakeholders, external
stakeholders, legal, compliance and accounting departments are completed on schedule.
Additionally, ensuring products are edited correctly and up to date consistently throughout
the product life cycle.
○ Tracking invoices and billing process to ensure various reporting requirements are met.
○ Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of media campaigns, identifying
areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
○ Develop and manage media budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to allocated
budgets.
○ Maintain accurate records and documentation of media campaigns, contracts, and
related information within the systems that Somos has set up.
○ Monitor, track, and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights
to stakeholders, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

● Collaborations & Partnerships
○ Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with paid media consultants.

○ Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with partner organizations by attending
meetings, providing frequent updates and maintaining clear communication.
○ Support the coordination of media-related events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
● Content Development
○ Assist the Communications and Media Director and other departments on creative
development with an eye towards consistency, quality and efficiency.
○ Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all paid media
campaigns.

● Industry Research & Compliance
○ Ensure that all advertising is consistent with research to eliminate the risk of legal
consequences including lawsuits.
○ Stay informed about relevant regulations and guidelines regarding media advertising and
ensure compliance in all campaigns.
○ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and media consumption
habits to identify new opportunities and optimize media campaigns accordingly.
○ Conduct research and analysis on media trends, audience demographics, and
competitors to contribute to the development of effective media strategies.
○ Maintain literacy in the relevant regulatory environment to ensure compliance with all
state and federal laws and regulations.
● Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Qualifications
● Proven experience in media planning, buying, and execution.
● At least three to five years of experience in progressive political campaigns, progressive
non-profits, or similar organizations (with a campaign focus), or similar transferable experience
and a minimum two years of project management experience.
● Understanding of traditional and digital paid media platforms, including emerging trends and
technologies.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive campaign
optimization.
● Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal/external teams.
● Excellent knowledge of media buying and negotiation techniques, as well as experience
managing budgets and vendor relationships.
● Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful paid media strategies that align with
organizational goals and objectives.
● Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a
diverse group of professionals.
● Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas
to stakeholders at all levels.
● Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and
meet tight deadlines.
● Familiarity with industry tools and software for paid media planning, buying, and reporting.
● Has experience working in Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Slides, ect) or Microsoft Suite
(Excel, Power Point, ect)

● Experience working with and in communities of color.
● Bilingual, Spanish and English

Compensation
This is a Full Time, Salary, Cycle position that runs through December 2024. The pay range is equivalent
to $80,000 – $100,000 yearly salary and is commensurate with experience.

Somos Votantes/Somos PAC provides a generous paid time off policy with paid vacation, paid sick leave,
personal days, paid Federal holidays, and paid organizational time off from at least Dec 23 to January 1st
yearly. Somos Votantes provides staff cell phone reimbursement, up to 80% of employee healthcare
reimbursed and an auto gas/mileage monthly stipend.
