The ActBlue Training team builds accessible training on digital fundraising and ActBlue's platform and tools with the goal of introducing ActBlue to new audiences and  onboarding and educating new campaigns and organizations. We also help upskill current entities and build the digital fundraising capacity of progressive campaigns, candidates, nonprofits and organizations. Internally we provide training for AB staff on digital fundraising best practices, technology and innovations in the space, internal data and operations processes best practices, and lead train-the-trainer programming. 

In addition to building out training programming, the Training Team partners with training organizations and experts in the progressive political and nonprofit sphere to increase digital fundraising proficiencies across the space. Training Team partnerships are integral to reaching new audiences and potential users, maintaining ActBlue’s position as a digital fundraising authority and establishing key brand association with progressive training leaders.

The Training Program Associate will support all training programming by managing the data & reporting and operations of the training team. They will report directly to the Training Director and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the Training Team has all of the necessary logistical processes in place to run effective trainings. In addition to the Outreach team, the Associate will collaborate closely with colleagues in our Marketing, Design, Data, IT, and Legal teams on moving forward complex projects and initiatives. The Training Associate will be focused on streamlining & optimizing all existing processes, logistics, and operations that go into running a smooth training, and our analytics operations. 


  • Support Training Managers in instructional design for both internal and external training programs and in training partnership work 
  • Lead internal and external training operations, calendaring, logistics, goal tracking and reporting of training program and partnership
  • Lead on internal communication for cross-functional teams to highlight key training data & impact, including build out of Training Confluence resources, training Slack channel & monthly email updates
  • Project manage annual virtual webinar series for entities including data impact analysis & launch plan
  • Build & manage project templates as needed with the support of the Managers
  • Support Training Managers in the creation of dynamic & engaging slide decks & instructional materials for adult learners in line with scoped team strategy. Ensure decks are aligned with all current branding updates, design, copy edits, WCAG compliance, and legal compliance
  • Improve existing library of content and slide decks to reflect best practices in audience engagement, product updates, branding updates, compliance updates, & accessibility updates. Write light scripting & talking points for slide decks to support colleague facilitators. Support the team’s work in designing content for adult learners that embraces diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
  • Conduct dry run sessions with colleague facilitators. Serve as the lead trainer for online and in-person training – internal and external-facing – as needed;
  • Optimize data collection, analytics, and reporting in partnership with Training Managers. Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual data analytics reporting on training program and partnerships metrics
  • Monitor ATS technical and organizational roll outs and updates and work with the training managers to update trainings as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging, innovative best practices in instructional design, training accessibility, & digital fundraising
  • Lead training partnership contract processing
  • Create and maintain a calendar of training events; manage internal team calendar & celebrations
  • Maintain and update as needed the database of training partners;
  • Support on ZenDesk tickets for webinar series as needed
  • Travel as required. Work outside of regular business hours (i.e., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) as required;


  • Up to 3 years of working in operations, project management, event planning, or logistics; 
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented and process-oriented;
  • Self-starter mentality, capable of working independently;
  • Experience and confidence in public speaking and/or adult learning;
  • Clear written and verbal communication skill set including facilitation and public speaking 
  • Experience with best practices in instructional design and adult learning theory preferred 
  • Ability to keep track of logistics and operations for several concurrent trainings at once
  • Experience with Monday.com, Asana, Slack, Zendesk, Confluence, JIRA, Airtable, Google Suite, and/or HubSpot; preferred 
  • Comfortable with simple data analytics and reporting for non-technical audiences;
  • Experience building strong, cross-functional partnerships 
  • Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences 
  • Campaign and/or non-profit program experience preferred but not necessary 
  • Community engagement experience preferred but not necessary 
  • Work outside of regular business hours (i.e., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) as required;
  • Travel required 


This posting is for a full-time, remote, salaried position. Travel may be required on a limited basis to attend all-staff and departmental retreats (1-2 times per year). Additional travel may be required for select positions. Salary Range Details:

Salary Range: $65,000 – $76,500 

ActBlue is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization.  Final salary offers will take into account factors such as candidate experience, interview performance and current team salary parity.
