Overview
Job Summary:
Will Stewart’s campaign for Mayor of Manchester is seeking a Finance Director to build out the campaign’s fundraising program. The Finance Director will be responsible for managing the campaign’s budget and ensuring that the campaign is meeting our fundraising goals. The Finance Director will also be assisting the candidate with regular call time to prospective donors.
The role will report directly to the Campaign Manager and will be based in New Hampshire. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the campaign’s finance plan to meet fundraising goals and stay in budget.
Manage the candidate’s call time schedule, and provide direct support to the candidate when necessary.
Research potential local and statewide donors.
Plan and executive fundraising events.
Implement digital fundraising tools, such as social media, email, etc.
Ensure compliance with campaign finance law in all fundraising practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
One cycle of experience in political campaigns. Experience in fundraising is preferred.
Familiarity with NGP-VAN, ActBlue, Excel, and Google Sheets.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Detail oriented and organized. Able to manage multiple projects.
Comfortable with event planning.
Access to a car, phone, and laptop.
A positive attitude and comfortable working in a team environment.
Compensation:
The position will pay $4,500/month, paid bi-weekly
